11 DPO Faint Line: Still Faint? Here's Why
By 11 DPO, most positives show clearly. If your line is still faint, here's what to consider.
What's normal at 11 DPO
By 11 DPO, most pregnant women will see a clear positive. However, if you implanted late (day 10-11), your line might still be faint because hCG hasn't had time to build up.
Late implantation is common
About 10% of pregnancies implant on day 10 or later. If that's you, an 11 DPO test is essentially your 'day 1' of hCG production—so a faint line is completely normal.
Compare to earlier tests
If you tested at 9 or 10 DPO, compare your lines. Even a slight darkening is a good sign. Our progression tracker helps you compare photos objectively without relying on memory.
When to worry (and when not to)
If your line is getting darker each day, you're on track. If lines stay the same or get lighter over several days, speak with a healthcare provider. But at 11 DPO, it's still early—give it time.
